Halid i Robert ‘I See You My Friend’ is a story of Robert and Halid, two teenagers living the turbulence of adolescence shared by many in their generation. However, the story of their friendship is only seemingly typical. Robert and Halid are inspiration to everybody around them. They are conquering life in an amazing way even though they cannot see.

Author's statement

Before meeting Robert and Halid, two teenager boys at the Center for Blind and Sight Impaired Children in Sarajevo, I didn't know much of how blind kids deal with the challenges of growing. The outstanding experience I gained spending time with them, sometimes makes me think that it is not us who can truly see, but them.

Author's biography

Cazim Dervisevic was born in Sarajevo in 1973. His career in media started in 1996. when he worked as a journalist. He started learn video production in the production house 012 where he produced several short moview and promo clips. In 2003 together with two friends established production house XY FILMS which focuses on documentary films and documentary TV program.
